GSU-IO
Model: GSU-IO
The GSU-I8O8 is an industrial digital input and output control module integrating digital input, relay output, and RS485/RS232 communication control. It provides 8 digital input channels and 8 relay output channels, supporting dry contact, wet contact, NPN, and PNP input types. It is suitable for switch signal acquisition, equipment status monitoring, relay control, and multi-device cascading applications. The module supports control via the Modbus RTU protocol and allows multiple devices to be cascaded over the RS485 bus, making it easy to integrate with EMS, BMS, power distribution monitoring systems, industrial automation systems, and energy management platforms. With DC 11–13V power input, low power consumption, and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, the GSU-I8O8 is well suited for demanding field environments.

Product Details
Digital Input The GSU-I8O8 provides 8 digital input channels for high/low-level signal acquisition. The high-level input voltage range is 6.0V to 30.0V, while the low-level input voltage range is 0.0V to 4.0V. It supports dry contact, wet contact, NPN, and PNP input types, enabling compatibility with various field sensors, switch signals, and device status signals. The module also supports RS485 data acquisition, allowing connection to host computers, edge gateways, or energy management platforms for centralized field data collection and monitoring. Digital Output The product provides 8 digital output channels with relay output. Relay brands can be selected based on project requirements. Each relay supports high-power output up to 10A and provides normally open, normally closed, and common contacts. It can be used to control contactors, indicator lights, audible and visual alarms, fans, pumps, and other field actuators. Communication Control The GSU-I8O8 is equipped with 1 RS485/RS232 communication interface, with RS485 and RS232 sharing a multiplexed interface. The module supports the Modbus RTU protocol, enabling remote control and data interaction through a host computer, PLC, gateway, or EMS system. Multiple GSU-I8O8 devices can be cascaded over the RS485 bus to meet distributed I/O expansion requirements for multi-point and multi-device applications.
